The Binnie family have been operating in Australian Agriculture since 1835. Based on 7,000 acres of prime cattle breeding country renowned for lush pastures, crystal clear spring fed creeks and natural rye grass or clover pastures in the heart of the Hunter Valley.After a century of registered Hereford breeding, cheese production, dairy manufacturing, and draft horse breeding on Mirannie Station, Steve and Liz Binnie took on this family legacy in 2004, moving solely into Wagyu cattle breeding and direct to restaurant beef sales.Today the business consists of thousands of Wagyu Animals, a specialist Wagyu genetics company, and two global beef brands (a free range and grain fed program) enjoyed in the worlds best restaurants from Shanghai, to Singapore, Sydney, London, Paris, and now also sold from the flagship Binnie Beef Warehouse, based at 144 Parry Street Newcastle.
